IAB Romania MIXX AWARDS 2012

The IAB MIXX Awards are an international IAB competition that honor the creativity, talent and strategy, thus pushing interactive advertising further and further. Focused on creativity and impact, the MIXX Awards evaluate all key facets of online marketing, including strategy, creative development and execution, media placement and integration, effectiveness and ROI. MIXX Awards are organized in several countries around the world (US, Belgium, Turkey, Poland, European Level etc) and now Romania also!
 
Because we want only the best-of-the-best to go home with a MIXX Award, the collection of winning works will create a valuable platform to educate the broader advertising and marketing industry about the powerful impact interactive has in the overall marketing mix.
 
The finalists will be announced and awarded during IAB MIXX Awards Gala that will take place at The Silver Church on the 17th of May, during the 6th Edition of RoNewMedia.  
 

 

 

These are the categories included in the IAB MIXX Awards Romania 2012:

 

 

1. Brand Awareness and Positioning


Any campaign with the primary objective of driving awareness of a brand or brand attributes

 

2. Direct Response &  Lead Generation

Lead Generation Strategy
Any campaign with the primary objective of driving direct response, such as promotions, sales, conversions or trials and generating prospective customers by gathering information from  prospects or current customers in order to qualify and score the opportunity for future follow up

.

3. Best Brand/Product Launch


Any campaign with the primary objective of introducing a new brand, product or service into the marketplace. Line extensions are not considered as a ‘new product’.

 

4. Experimental and Innovative campaign


Campaign featuring unconventional, new or groundbreaking techniques to market a service or product.

 

5. Cross-Media Integration


Any predominately digital campaign driving an exceptional user experience through superior integration of online and offline media.

 

6. Branded Content & blogging Campaigns

 

Businessentertainment or information content in order to establish a close relationship with customers.

 

7. Mobile App

Mobilemedia including the branded apps, in-app advertising, mobile display, text messaging and mobile video adv.

 

8. Rich Media Display

 

Banners, buttons, rich media such as transitionals, rising stars, floating ads, page take-overs, tear-backs and other innovative forms of display advertising.

 

9. Best Social Media Apps

 

Communication and/or branded social media apps (Facebook, etc.) that enhances or drive a better engagement with the customer.

 

10. Best Digital Mixx Campaign

 

The most complex digital campaign (the best use of all online tools available: display, direct, social media, mobile) that had the best results compared with objectives.  They will be nominee as best 3 campaigns of the year 2012.
